This comprehensive resource includes over 240 pages of open-and-go Lesson Plans, aimed at 6 to 7 year olds, and bundles together handwriting, tales, learning to read (through phonics and sight words) and recitations. Your child will build a wide vocabulary as they recite poems, hymns and Bible passages and narrate fables and fairy tales. They will learn to write using D’Nealian Manuscript (slanted print) while following Charlotte Mason’s methods of stroke forming and copywork.
Includes sight reading from The Young and Field Literary Readers Book One, and read-alouds and narrations from Andersen’s Fairy Tales, Grimm’s Fairy Tales and The Aesop for Children.
Note: Basic recognition of letters and their sounds is recommended before starting this course, however revision is done during Term 1.
