Part of my growing collection of booklets, this features words in the -at family (cat, hat, mat, sat, rat, bat), as well as common heart words (I, see, a, on, the). It’s full of simple pages that include blending words with dots, simple illustrations, and some easy to implement activities. My hope is that these booklets make your reading time simple for you, fun for learners, while still promoting early literacy skills.
What’s Included?
In each phonics booklet, you’ll find:
- CVC word pages (-at family words: cat, rat, hat, mat, sat, bat, fat)
- Heart words vocabulary pages (Use heart words in context with sentences, t be sure learners understand the meaning of the word: I, see, a, on, the)
- Word cards to use as flashcards or for sentence building
- Match the CVC word to picture cards
- A fun read and draw activity (Learners use the word cards to build sentences and illustrate what they made)
