Description
A Boy, His Dog, & a Gold Pan. It’s 1859 and the height of the gold rush. Seven-year-old Jem Coulter and his family pan gold on their claim alongside Cripple Creek. They live in a tent instead of a house, but that’s all right with Jem! The study guides go behind the scenes of living in a California gold camp during the gold rush.
