Description

Most money material for kids is a cartoon piggy bank and a lecture about saving your allowance. This isn’t that. Each sheet answers a real question in plain language, gives your child a calculation to do with a pencil, and then ends with the catch nobody mentions — the honest complication that most children’s material leaves out. That last section is the reason this set exists.

Ages / grade band. Ages 9–14, roughly 4th through 8th grade. A strong 8-year-old manages it read aloud. There’s no baby talk to grow out of, so a high schooler who was never taught this won’t find it beneath them.

Time. About 15 minutes per sheet — ten reading, five doing. One sheet a day is four school weeks; one a week is a semester. Every sheet also stands alone if your child asks a question at breakfast.

By the end your child can explain where prices come from, calculate compound interest and use the rule of 72, describe what a bank does with a deposit, say what they’re actually buying when they buy a stock, name the three moves every scam makes, and argue both sides of a question about taxes without repeating a slogan.

Materials. A printer and a pencil. Two sheets go easier with a calculator. Nothing else.

Format. PDF, US Letter (8.5×11), portrait, black and white throughout — no color version needed and no full-bleed dark areas, so a home inkjet prints the whole set without complaint. Half-inch margins. Answer key included.

Faith content: none. This is a secular set. It contains no Scripture, no devotional material, and no religious framing in any direction. Two sheets (16, on taxes, and 20, on inequality) deliberately present the strongest version of more than one view and stop there without steering — they’re written to be argued by a family of any politics or faith.
