- Putting together an easy backyard obstacle course
- Learning military lingo, artillery names, and ranks
- Making a clay diorama of the battlefield
- Hosting a Nerf gun war
- Drawing maps and
- Illustrating the story
Literary tools to enhance writing are incorporated: onomatopoeia, show don’t tell, similes, and comic relief.
This course can be used in one 60 minute lesson or two 30 minute lessons per week.
