Description
Dictation is an important part of learning to read and spell. Daily dictation can help kids apply the phonics & phonemic awareness skills they have been learning!
How to use:
- Say the target sounds out loud. Have students spell each sound.
- Say each word. Have students map the word (spell each sound) and then
write the word on the lines underneath the mapping boxes. - Say the sentence. Have students write the sentence on the line.
Please note that you may not need to use all the lessons provided. However, if you are using my 3 day lesson plans, you can incorporate one dictation lesson into each day.
This bundle also includes 40 templates for dictation with seasons, holidays, and fun themes!
