Description
These decodable short stories are aligned with my phonics scope & sequence and my high frequency word scope & sequence.
I choose every single word very carefully to ensure that my decodables are 100% decodable if you are following my scope & sequences! This builds confidence for emerging readers and eliminates the need for memorizing words or guessing.
There are 10 passages with REAL photos. These passages include all the skills from UNIT 5 – Tricky Y, OU, OW, AU, AW, OO, OI, OY, schwa, and high frequency words from my scope & sequence. They also include words with phonics patterns taught in units 1-4. There are sample comprehension questions that go along with each passage. Google slides option is included!
Please note that these passages are not skills specific. They are meant to be used after all skills in Unit 5 (and previous units) have been taught.
