Instant Download Assembly Instructions

These instructions are included in the instant download. © 2025 by Susan K. Marlow; all rights reserved.

Materials: (available from Walmart)

  • six 3/4” (clear) ultra-thin Two for Andi, two for Jenny, and two for Rosa
  • four dozen 1/2” wafer or ultra-thin Velcro™ “loop” dots for the clothes
  • heavy, glossy (if possible) cardstock for the dolls and the horses; heavy white paper (#28 weight suggested) for clothes
  • one-gallon Ziploc bag for storing the paper dolls and the horses
  • scissors
  • laminating sheets for extra protection (optional but highly recommended)

Instructions: (It is recommended that an adult cut out and assemble for younger children.)

If you choose to laminate, laminate all sheets before you cut out the dolls and clothes.

  1. Cut out the figures and stand strips. Clip the gold lines on the figures where indicated. To stand, slip the strip ends into the cuts, so the strip forms a half-circle behind the figure.
  2.  Peel the ¾” Velcro™ hook pieces and attach where indicated on the three doll figures. The extra Velcro helps keep the longer clothes attached (like the overalls and trousers).
  3. Cut out the outfits.
  4. It is important to attach the ½” Velcro™ loop dots to the back of the outfit in such a way that they line up with the large Velcro™ hook pieces on the doll. Here is the trick:
  • Position the loop dot in the center of the hook piece on the doll—Velcro to Velcro.
  • Peel the paper from the dot, exposing the adhesive.
  • Line up the outfit against the doll and press firmly. The adhesive should stick to the back of the outfit.
  • Gently pull the outfit away. Repeat with the other outfits.
