Clareza Grade 12: Reading, Part 1 (Units 1-4)

Description

“Clareza Grade 12: Reading, Part 1 (Units 1-4)” is a print homeschool volume from Clareza Academy for twelfth grade. Part of the whole twelfth-grade year; Reading runs long enough to be its own two volumes, and this is Part 1 (Units 1-4, tragic form through satire). This volume covers Reading, built from Clareza’s own Literature, Rhetoric, and the Examined Life course. It runs 337 pages laid out as a 36-week course (Reading: 36 lessons), with 271 practice-sheet questions and 72 unit check-up questions built directly into the book, and a full answer key at the back. Every lesson opens with a short script a parent can read straight from the page (what to say, and what to look and listen for), names a specific misconception a student is likely to reach for and how to correct it, and closes with a practice sheet that may be copied for household use. No teaching background or app is required to use this book. Passages, prompts and writing tasks are original to this book. This is a standalone, black-and-white, 337-page paperback printed at 8.5 x 11 in on white paper; no login, subscription or additional purchase is required to use it. (The same course also runs as a guided online lesson at https://clarezaacademy.com, for families who want that option; the print book stands on its own without it.)
