Clareza Grade 2: The Full Year: Math, Reading, Science and Social Studies

Description

“Clareza Grade 2: The Full Year: Math, Reading, Science and Social Studies” is a print homeschool volume from Clareza Academy for second grade. The whole second-grade year: math, phonics, science and social studies, one volume. This volume covers Math (Number Shape and Measure Grade 2 Mathematics); Reading (Learning to Read Phonics); Science (Science Explorations); Social Studies (My World Social Studies). It runs 558 pages laid out as a 36-week course (Math: 78 lessons; Reading: 36 lessons; Science: 36 lessons; Social Studies: 36 lessons), with 743 practice-sheet questions and 371 unit check-up questions built directly into the book, and a full answer key at the back. Every lesson opens with a short script a parent can read straight from the page (what to say, and what to look and listen for), names a specific misconception a student is likely to reach for and how to correct it, and closes with a practice sheet that may be copied for household use. No teaching background or app is required to use this book. Every practice sheet is answer-keyed step by step, showing the working, not just a final number. Passages, prompts and writing tasks are original to this book. Hands-on activities use ordinary household materials, with a no-materials swap given for every one that needs something special. Each unit closes with a check-up sheet a parent can grade straight from the answer key. This is a standalone, black-and-white, 558-page paperback printed at 8.5 x 11 in on white paper; no login, subscription or additional purchase is required to use it. (The same course also runs as a guided online lesson at https://clarezaacademy.com, for families who want that option; the print book stands on its own without it.)
