Clareza Grade 9: Science, Volume 1: Chemistry of Life through Genetics

Description

“Clareza Grade 9: Science, Volume 1: Chemistry of Life through Genetics” is a print homeschool volume from Clareza Academy for ninth grade. Part of the whole ninth-grade year; Biology alone runs long enough that it is its own two volumes, and this is Volume 1. This volume covers Science, built from Clareza’s own Biology Systems Structure and Change course. It runs 395 pages laid out as a 36-week course (Science: 45 lessons), with 359 practice-sheet questions and 91 unit check-up questions built directly into the book, and a full answer key at the back. Every lesson opens with a short script a parent can read straight from the page (what to say, and what to look and listen for), names a specific misconception a student is likely to reach for and how to correct it, and closes with a practice sheet that may be copied for household use. No teaching background or app is required to use this book. Hands-on activities use ordinary household materials, with a no-materials swap given for every one that needs something special. This is a standalone, black-and-white, 395-page paperback printed at 8.5 x 11 in on white paper; no login, subscription or additional purchase is required to use it. (The same course also runs as a guided online lesson at https://clarezaacademy.com, for families who want that option; the print book stands on its own without it.)
