Clareza Specials: Visual Art for Grades 6-8

Description

“Clareza Specials: Visual Art for Grades 6-8” is a print homeschool volume from Clareza Academy for grades 6 through 8. Part of Specials for grades 6 through 8, one volume per subject. This volume covers Art, built from Clareza’s own Seeing and Making: An Introduction to Visual Art course. It runs 220 pages laid out as a 36-week course (Art: 35 lessons), with 265 practice-sheet questions and 70 unit check-up questions built directly into the book, and a full answer key at the back. Every lesson opens with a short script a parent can read straight from the page (what to say, and what to look and listen for), names a specific misconception a student is likely to reach for and how to correct it, and closes with a practice sheet that may be copied for household use. No teaching background or app is required to use this book. Hands-on art projects use ordinary household art supplies, with a no-supplies swap given for every one that needs something special. This is a standalone, black-and-white, 220-page paperback printed at 8.5 x 11 in on white paper; no login, subscription or additional purchase is required to use it. (The same course also runs as a guided online lesson at https://clarezaacademy.com, for families who want that option; the print book stands on its own without it.)
