Draw & Write prompts were created with REAL kids in mind. An adapted writing process that’s easy to use (just print and go!), Draw & Write prompts allow kids to follow the writing process (pre-plan, draft, write) without it feeling overwhelming.

On the first day, you’ll give your learners a prompt or let them choose one. They’ll complete the picture to get their ideas down. On the second day, they dictate what they would like to write to you – you can either write it down on a separate piece of paper for them or help them remember it. On the third day, they write!

Draw & Write level 1: The original Draw & Write set! Learners draw their ideas, then write them down on a seperate day. An age-appropriate way to help your kids write their first papers!

Draw & write level 2: In these sets, kids go beyond using word prompts and come up with their own stories or ideas. They once again begin by drawing, but instead of having a written prompt, can use the word bank on each page to help them come up with ideas.

Draw & Write Alphabet: This set gets your youngest learners practicing their handwriting – and their storytelling skills! Help them trace the letters of the alphabet, then come up with a story based on a picture on the page that begins with that letter! Parents/teachers can write the story down as they tell it to make a fun book of stories for the end of the year!

Draw & Write in the Fall: These 15 fall-inspired pages are a great way to kick off the school year! Leaves, pumpkins and fall activities (no Halloween or holidays included) make it perfect for cozy fall morning work!
