The Gospel of John: Inductive Bible Study Class is an online course designed for students in grades 7–12 who are ready to learn how to study the Bible for themselves.

In this course, students will work systematically through John chapters 1–12, learning to use the inductive Bible study method to observe what the text says, interpret what it means, and apply its truth to their lives. Rather than beginning with themes or topics, students start with the biblical text itself—learning to notice key words, repeated ideas, and the main point of each passage as they study paragraph by paragraph.

This flexible, self-paced course includes daily independent assignments Monday through Thursday, along with weekly video lessons that students can watch when it fits their schedule. Quizzes, projects, and grading rubrics are included, making this course ideal for families who need accountability and documentation for homeschool high school credit. Family pricing allows multiple students from the same household to participate for one price.

Each student receives a Self Study Workbook for John 1–12, which includes daily lessons, space for marking the text, an answer key, and guided projects with rubrics. Students will gain confidence in studying Scripture independently while developing critical thinking, observation, and interpretation skills that will serve them for a lifetime.

Abby Banks is a former classroom teacher, homeschool mom of five, and pastor’s wife. Though she grew up in a Christian home, Abby was never taught how to truly read and understand the Bible until discovering the inductive method. For over 25 years, she has taught children, teens, and women how to dig deeply into Scripture and study God’s Word with clarity and confidence.
