I highly recommend you do something on the “Daily Preps For Any Power Outage” page every day. Then, when the next Power Outage comes, you will be ready. Or at least more ready than you are right now.

Here are just a few tips you will find on the Daily page:
Stock up on everyone’s medications or prescriptions. (Example: inhaler, diabetes needs, oxygen, etc.)
Check that your battery operated radio is working, if flashlights are working and replace batteries if needed.
Get cash to have on hand in an emergency. Sometimes a small store or gas station is open, but can only accept cash when the power is out.
