Made to align with preschool requirements (and common core standards in grades 1+) these units put a strong focus on time spent playing outdoors (or inside), crafts, and fun activities that will get your learners excited about math time! Whether you homeschool, teach a co-op or nature class, or just want to get your child ready for kindergarten in a FUN way, this curriculum is designed to meet all of your needs!

Inside Unit 1

In this unit, the first unit of preschool, your learner(s) will discover numeracy skills using numbers 1-5. This goes beyond typical counting on your fingers or tracing the numbers on a worksheet – children will learn to relate numerals to amounts, groups, and real-life objects and scenarios. Your learner(s) won’t just practice at a desk either – they’ll learn about numbers while exploring their environments, launching paper rockets, blowing bubbles, and doing levelled STEM projects.

A comprehensive curriculum is included, featuring 20 days of lesson plans, an activity guide, and printables necessary to complete the unit.

The Lesson Plans

The daily lesson plans included in this unit cover 20 days of learning.

Every week, you’ll have 6 pages, the first covering everything you will need for that week as well as letting you know which learning standards are being covered. You’ll then have a planned-out lesson for each day of the week, including a warm-up activity, a main lesson, some extensions for older learners or early finishers, and a small lesson wrap-up. Each day includes active learning alongside simple worksheets or crafts.

The Activity Guide

If following a structured lesson plan doesn’t feel right for you, you can simply follow the included activity guide which goes over all of the included printables. This way, you can use the activities and get inspiration from the lesson plans, but make up your own schedule.

Learning Records

These handy sheets allow you to check off common core standards in grades 1 and above or preschool standards in the preschool level. They’re perfect for record-keeping, portfolios, and peace of mind! There are already filled-out versions, including all of the standards, or blank versions included as well for you to fill out yourself.

The Printables

Made to follow the common core standards, these printables include crafts, worksheets, and activities. They are a great way to show learning for those who must keep portfolios or records, and provide your learner with practice putting math on paper. Research has proven that writing things down helps children remember more and better organize their thoughts. Although these are not required, they are made to meet the child at the level they are at – nothing complicated or too advanced for the level you choose.
