📖 What is an Acrostic Poem?
An acrostic poem is a fun and simple form of poetry! The first letter of each line spells out a key word or phrase (in this case, SLOTH). Students then write a word or phrase for each letter, creating a unique poem that describes the core word. It’s a great structural exercise for beginning poets and can build confidence in reluctant writers. ✍️
