Abby Banks is a former classroom teacher and a pastor’s wife living in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. She currently homeschools her two youngest children after successfully graduating her older three. Abby serves Pennsylvania families as a homeschool evaluator and consultant, and through these roles—along with her blog at 4onemore.com—she is passionate about equipping and encouraging homeschool parents.
An entrepreneur at heart, Abby has run several in-home businesses while homeschooling, which has fueled her passion for helping teens develop real-world skills. This experience led her to create practical, skill-based entrepreneurial courses for homeschool teens that allow students to pursue their interests while earning meaningful elective credit.
Abby also hosts the Homeschool with Moxie podcast and YouTube channel, where she shares practical strategies to help families move from overwhelmed to confident in their homeschooling journey.
Although she grew up in a Christian home, Abby was never taught how to truly read and understand the Bible for herself. After learning to dig deeply into Scripture using the Inductive Bible Study Method, she has spent the last 25 years teaching children, teens, and women in both church and homeschool settings. Her Inductive Bible Study Courses for K–12 provide families with a clear, step-by-step way to learn how to study God’s Word together.
