Homeschool mom by day . . . novel writer by night.

Susan began writing stories when she was ten years old. As an adult, she homeschooled teenagers and cared for toddlers during the day, and then escaped into the Old West at night by writing her "Old West Adventures." Susan has written six series (38 books) and has over 225,000 books in print with Kregel Publications.  

As a homeschooling mom, she appreciated literature studies that did more than simply ask questions and give pages of vocabulary. With that in mind, she has created year-long reading bundles that make an historial adventure novel (or a series) incredibly exciting, while digging deeper into the times and places (plus, of course a little comprehension and vocabulary). She vendored at homeschool conventions across the U.S. for over ten years.
