Emily Smith is a homeschool mom to two young daughters, currently homeschooling her oldest through Kindergarten and her youngest through Preschool. Having been homeschooled herself throughout elementary and high school, Emily has experienced the beauty of learning at home from both the student and parent perspective.

Before becoming a stay-at-home and homeschool mom, Emily spent 8 years teaching in public and private school settings, with experience in general and special education from Preschool through 6th grade. She spent 7 years teaching Kindergarten and has a passion for creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that make education feel connected to real life.

Through Seeds of Faith Teaching, Emily combines her background as a teacher, her experience as a former homeschool student, and her journey as a homeschool mom to create resources that help families learn together through literature, humanities, hands-on activities, and a Christ-centered worldview.
