This game is a fun way to practice naming foods in French. It includes a game along with some simple writing sheets you can give out to students for extra practice too.
The game works as a round-robin sentence builder game. The first player picks a food card and says “Dans ma panier de pique-nique il y a…” and says the name of the food. The second player picks another food card and repeats what the first player said, adding their own food word to the phrase. Play continues as long as you would like!
I have included all food groups, including junk food. The unit is organized by food group so you can pick and choose which you would like to use, or use them all at once.

- Word cards for a pocket chart with the same phrase
- Food Group translation guides
